MMCTSU eSupport

Please Note: IMAP is the preferred account type of hand held devices as it will not download messages but rather store them on the server. This will save space on the device. Some devices will only allow IMAP setup.

1. In the app list tap on Settings.

2. Select Email + Accounts.

3. Select Add An Account.

4. Select Advanced Setup.

5. Enter the following information as provided by your ISP into the Advanced Setup area. Tap Next.

Email Address - Enter your email address in the format of username@mmctsu.com
Password - As provided by your ISP

6. Select Internet Email.

7. Enter the following information as provided by your ISP into the Internet Email Accounts window. You will need to scroll down the page to fill out everything.

Account Name - Choose a name for this account to identify it in settings
Your Name - Your name as you would like it to appear in the from field of an outgoing message
Incoming Email Server - For POP3 enter pop3.mmctsu.com 110 or for IMAP enter imap.mmctsu.com 143
Account Type - IMAP
User Name - Enter the first part of your email address
Password - As provided by your ISP
Outgoing Mail Server - For SMTP enter smtp.mmctsu.com 587 or for IMAP enter imap.mmctsu.com 143

8. Tap Advanced Settings.

9. Checkmark Outgoing Server Requires Authentication and Use Same User Name And Password For Sending Email. Tap Sign In when completed.

You are now ready to begin using your new mail account.
